Meet Susan: Our Incredible Occupational Therapist at KindSpire Support
At KindSpire Support, we’re proud of the amazing team of professionals who help make a real difference in the lives of our participants. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to Susan, one of our exceptional Occupational Therapists (OT), whose passion and expertise make her a standout member of our team!
A Passion for Helping Others
Susan’s journey in the field of Occupational Therapy began after graduating from the University of Sydney in 2012. With over 12 years of experience, including the last 3 years working with the NDIS and 9 years in other health sectors, Susan brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience. She specialises in working with individuals living with a range of challenges, including:
Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders
ADHD and intellectual disabilities
Physical impairments
And many more disabilities
Whether it’s guiding participants through their day-to-day activities or providing strategies to help them thrive, Susan is deeply committed to empowering those she works with.
Specialised Expertise
Susan’s professional experience doesn’t stop at general therapy – she’s highly skilled in:
Functional assessments: Helping participants live as independently as possible by identifying their strengths and needs.
SIL (Supported Independent Living) assessments: Working closely with participants to assess their living situations and recommend solutions for more autonomy.
Assistive Technology (AT) requests and equipment prescription: Ensuring participants have the right tools to enhance their daily lives and promote independence.
Her knowledge and precision in these areas ensure that every participant receives the best possible care and support tailored to their needs.
Catch Susan in the Clinic
Susan is available for in-person consultations at our Casula clinic in NSW. She works fortnightly on Mondays (before 2 pm) and every Tuesday. However, spots tend to fill up quickly, so be sure to book ahead.

When Susan isn’t helping participants reach their full potential, she enjoys Pilates and loves to travel! Whether it’s relaxing on a beach or exploring a new city, Susan always finds time to recharge, bringing fresh energy to her work.
