  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government program that provides funding for support and services to eligible Australians with permanent and significant disabilities. It helps individuals achieve their goals, build independence, and take part in community life.

  • You may be eligible if you:

    • Are aged between 7 and 65

    • Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident

    • Have a permanent disability that impacts your everyday life

    To check your eligibility, visit the NDIS website or reach out to us - we’re happy to help.

    • Supported Independent Living (SIL)

    • Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

    • Core Supports – Personal care, community access, domestic assistance, transport, life skills

    • Therapeutic Supports – Including Art Therapy (limited availability)

  • SIL refers to the daily support you receive to live more independently - such as help with cooking, cleaning, personal care, and routines.

    SDA refers to the home itself - a purpose-built property for people with very high support needs.

    At KindSpire, we help you access both - matching the right home with the right support for your lifestyle and goals.

  • Yes! If you’re self-managed or plan-managed, you can choose KindSpire directly. We’re also a registered NDIS provider, so we can support NDIA-managed participants too.
