Empowering Kids Through Sport: KindSpire’s Incredible Day at the Georges River Abilities Unleashed Kids Event!

Today, KindSpire Support had the privilege of volunteering at the Georges River Abilities Unleashed Kids event at Hurstville Aquatic Centre, and what an inspiring experience it was! The event was a fantastic opportunity for young people, particularly from local support classes in and around Hurstville, to try their hand at a variety of adaptive sports and activities.

From the excitement of riding adaptive bikes provided by Freedom Solutions to the thrill of table tennis, boccia, badminton, and cricket, there was something for everyone. It was incredible to see the participants fully immersed in the activities, each one eager to explore their athletic potential in a fun and supportive environment.

Our team at KindSpire was honoured to be a part of this event, helping set up stations, welcoming participants, and providing plenty of encouragement throughout the day. We could see the joy and confidence shining through each young person as they tried new sports, made new friends, and stepped out of their comfort zones.

A huge thank you to Georges River Council and Disability Sports Australia for organising such a wonderful event that empowers kids to discover their full potential through sport. We can’t wait to be involved in future events like this and continue to support inclusive opportunities for all.
